As an Attorney for Farmers Insurance, you will be responsible for:

• The competent, ethical, and diligent representation of clients in all cases involving tort practice,  moderate to severe injuries and/or damages, including preparation of pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs, attendance at hearings, conferences, interviews, trials or arbitrations, and performance of any other tasks or duties necessary for the proper representation of clients.
• Consulting with and rendering opinions to members of the Claims Departments concerning the legal aspects of the handling of personal injury claims.
• Maintaining and updating computerized litigation support systems for assigned caseloads.

Our Ideal Candidate will possess the following:
Four-year college degree, law school degree, and member in good standing of the Pennsylvania State Bar
At least 2 years prior experience as an Attorney
The ability to handle cases of moderate to great exposure and/or complexity with minimum supervision

Besides sedentary work, job duties require some or all of the followingphysical activities:  Carrying and lifting up to 25 pounds, hearing,seeing, standing and walking (including up and down stairs and steps).




Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlledoffice environment, with some exposure to uncontrolled outsideenvironmental conditions and travel via automobile and/or commercialtransportation.


Four-year college degree, law school degree, and member in good standingof the State Bar in the state in which position is located.


A minimum of 2 years as an Attorney.


Public speaking, ability to function and handle high case loads inadversarial or confrontational situations, driving.
