| Description | To receive the goods in the local stock by ensuring that the goods delivered correspond to the documentation provided. • Establish the organization of local storage, taking into account the turnover, size, weight and quantity of all materials and equipment stored. • Ensure that all assets in the storage facility are safe. • Supervise the work of staff of the stock: Inform the staff of the stock of procedures for the proper conservation of materials and equipment stored. Determine in writing and establish procedures for the conduct of operations relating to the work of stock. • Inventory: o Organize periodic and special inventories as scheduled. o Identify materials, equipment, merchandise storage area and enter the information collected in the computer system. o Enter and update all information on the goods stored in the stockroom. o Compare the results of inventories to computer records. Prepare a report on the differences and investigate the reasons for these differences. o Organize a system of traceability of materials or equipment stored in the storage facility to determine the causes of differences between computer data relating to the stock and the actual quantities following inventories. Propose solutions to reduce these differences. o Revise the records relating to local storage solutions for the material. • Revise and standardize procedures to improve the work of department staff. • Develop and monitor "Quality Insurance System" for storage. |
| Qualifications | • Proficiency in computer skills (Internet, email, Word, Excel). • Knowledge of methods of handling, storage and packaging of various goods, including fragile goods and perishables. • Knowledge of methods and procedures for inspecting commercial, plant and equipment. • Knowledge of the use of material handling equipment. |
