Accountabilities • Install, configure and tune server –side ESRI software and all types of ESRIs SDKs • Provide high-quality support, through e-mail, phone, fax and on-site to end users of ESRI software to solve application development problems quickly and effectively. • Provide onsite technical assistance, related to GIS application development, at any point during and after the implementation of GIS projects. • Assist in writing and maintaining training materials for application contents. • Utilize and develop problem-solving skills, communication skills, creativity, and knowledge of ESRI products. • Perform implementing to written software design according to organization coding convention and design guidelines • Develop applications and GIS Solution prototypes • Participate in testing process through unit testing and provide bug fixes.
Qualifications • Bachelors or equivalent work experience in GIS, computer science, information systems, Engineering, or a related field. • Knowledge and experience in programming such as VB.NET, C# .NET, VB6, ASP.NET or Java. • Customer oriented manner, analytical/problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills. • Strong command of the English language. • The ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely with familiarity using technical terms. • The ability to document, tests, and resolve typical system and software-related issues/problems. Desired Qualifications: • Possess a clear understanding of GIS theory and applications. • Familiarity with and ability to communicate GIS and technical terms and/or technical information. • Familiarity with ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, ArcIMS, ArcInfo Workstation, ArcView,or other ESRI software products.
