| Description | Web architect is responsible for analyzing business goals and needs, understanding the current systems architecture and capabilities, and coming up with the best target architecture and roadmaps to deliver the business value and overcome current Vodafone website architecture problems. Building and maintaining architecture roadmap o Coordinate with technical stakeholders to produce domain roadmaps that meet architecture guidelines and business requirements. o Produce and maintain architecture description (documentation) of the current and target Architecture. o Lead different technical areas to enhance the existing systems capabilities and integration to eliminate the gap between existing setup and the target architecture. Architecting Vodafone Website o Reflect business requirements into architectural requirements and choices. o Explore different architectural alternatives, make strategic design decisions and produce appropriate architecture, solution model, and integration requirements. o Good understanding of change management and how VF teams adopt new processes and hence studying this adoption on VFE systems. Research for technology and development standards o Research and present web development standards. o Research and present target technologies. |
| Qualifications | Engineering / computer science background. Experience in Architecture and Design of enterprise website and content management solutions. Experience in Oracle products especially Database, UCM and Portal. Experience in WAP applications. Experience in design using UML standards. Experience in using Architecture/Design tools. Project management skills are recommended. Technical writing (especially Architecture/Design documents). Telecommunication experience is a plus. |
