JOB DESCRIPTION:

-A Helpdesk/First Line Support is a junior position with responsibilities, under supervision, for resolving IT problems, including operating systems and productivity software, office software, applications support and carrying out other tasks as defined and directed by the Team Leader. All these tasks are to be completed in a timely, efficient and proactive manner. -The majority of the individuals work will be dealing with helpdesk calls in accordance with defined Service Level Agreements via the telephone, and also dealing with the mails received in the generic mailbox. -There is potential within the role, for the individual to progress to an IT Engineer position if the individual has the required skills, education and motivation. -Day to day reporting will be via the Team Leader however the individual?s line manager is the Support Centre Manager.
