Services Sales Executive:
A Services Sales Executive must have superior sales, business development and business management skills. The Territory Services Executive should demonstrate an expert level of proficiency in sales and business acumen, customer relations, opportunity identification and conflict and negotiation management. Depth of experience in a variety of applicable technologies is essential and strong services business knowledge is required. This individual must be able to understand and articulate Microsoft strategy and vision to a variety of audiences. Knowledge of Enterprise Services Frameworks is preferred.
The purpose of this job is to drive and grow the Services business in alignment with the set Services strategy by only focusing on Major customers. As such the Services Executive is accountable for the services revenue quota, technology vision and delivery oversight of his/her assigned portfolio of the accounts.

The SE will:
Own the overall Services account relationship with the customer/s (external focus) and therefore need to:
• Drive forward the services business and revenue opportunities
• Develop new and build deeper and strategic relationships in the account base, ensure optimal product penetration and exploitation.
• Act as the catalyst between the Microsoft Sales Account Team and the Microsoft Services organization (internal focus) and is ultimately accountable for:
o Driving a pipeline of consulting and support opportunities that generate services revenue and profit,
support the sale and deployment of Microsoft software.
o Be accountable for implementing the Microsoft Services Lines strategy at the account level, via account planning and pipeline management activities.
Description of Role/Responsibility and Business results this position is accountable for:
• Able to understand and articulate Microsoft strategy and vision to a variety of audiences.
• Attainment of quotas through Direct Billed and Services Attached revenue for Consulting and Premier
• Plan and build a sustainable and profitable Services pipeline through global account planning process.
Backlog tracking and oversight
• Enables tactical (short term) and strategic (medium to long term) customer opportunity alignment and execution
• Engage customers and partners to successfully implement specific customer solutions
• Establish, manage and maintain Customer and required Partner relationships
• Ensures services offerings and product penetration through well-defined and executable account plans and strategies leading to business growth and higher account intensity.
• Accurate orchestration, execution and tracking of the Microsoft sales process - opportunity identification through closure
• Oversee Services Delivery Management on engagements
• Ensure that Customer Satisfaction levels are high and well maintained with regards to all Service Delivery
• Provides Services sales guidance to less experienced or newly hired team members
• Works independently, clearly articulates customer requirements, and develops appropriate deals with minimal guidance and oversight from senior team members


Qualifications:
Education, experience and skills required for this position:
• 8-10 years of related experience, e.g. complex it-services/projects
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S./B.A.), MBA or Master’s Degree
• Field of Study: Engineering, Information Technology, Marketing and Sales

• Strong understanding and experience with incorporating system integrators and third-party participants into a single customer proposal
