-What are my responsibilities? µ Supplier management Sourcing, supplier selection, evaluation, continued development of worldwide master supplier data on the basis of cross-functional teams in accordance with HQ/worldwide strategies to ensure that demand is met to the highest possible degree and to implement joint cost objectives from the outset µ Planning and Controlling derivation of individual objectives (budget, target/actual) from plant/HQ objectives under the anticipated market situations to measure, report, control and (where necessary) to give coaching in the overall results on the basis of cross-functional teams, Procurement Dept µ Organizational, procedural and process responsibility. Adaptation and implementation of efficient forms of organization, procedures and processes to ensure rationalization potential to optimize productivity, taking operational effects into account µ Early integration in all procurement-related procedures (e.g. R&D / customer projects) to be a competent partner to all internal customers for the early integration of suppliers. µ Implementation of corporate/HQ guidelines, tools and processes, to ensure use in the entity µ Local procurement strategies (and project support). Initiating procurement processes and pinpointing approaches to problem-solving in accordance with HQ/worldwide strategies to secure local (plant) objectives
-What do I need to qualify for this job? · Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position · Excellent command of both spoken and written English language · All knowledge that is necessary and relevant for fulfilling procurement tasks in an assigned area of responsibility, e. g. Supplier Management, Procurement Strategy, Analysis Techniques. · Excellent command of MS. Windows and MS. Office applications · To know procurement/supplier related quality processes and objectives. · Knowledge of accounting, cash flow, EVA, overhead controlling, profit & loss, Budget/Forecast-Planning & profit transition · Knowledge of applicable rules and regulations · To know how to understand specifications in contracts · Knowledge of technical, commercial and legal aspects of a contract
