-Oversee design of new and redesigned components, to improve quality, function, performance and reliability while maintaining cost, manufacturability. Design, develop and test the function or system for the new product. Provide design specifications to lead and coordinate supplier development programs and test qualifications, including: mechanical attributes, electrical components and software Coordinate and support efforts required through the Model Shop, Test & Evaluation Lab, Reliability testing, and other wet & cold line departments / groups. Assist in the development and approval of test and quality plans for designed components and assemblies. Analyse and approve test results to ensure they meet the requirements of the manufacturing processes and assembly. Plan Lab equipment according to planning department requirements. Placing equipment requirements and maintenance budget. Placing periodic equipment calibration plan. Prepare periodic lab equipment upgrade plans as required. Prepare skills enhancement schemes for lab technicians as required.
-Qualifications B.Sc. In mechanical Power Engineering. 0- 4 years of experience. Lab management software capabilities is a plus

2.Knowledge of Microsoft Office and telephone protocol. Computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications. Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to type 60 wpm. Visibility of work requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information. This is normally acquired through a combination of the completion of an Associates Degree and three to five years of secretarial experience.

3.Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel.
