The Learning & Development Manager - Contact Center

The Learning and Development Manager will be responsible for providing an effective, efficient and proactive Learning and Development function to the Managers, Supervisors, and Support staff


RESPONSIBILITIES AND END RESULTS




· Deliver role-specific core development curricula in line with the company core competencies, and Business requirements, and individual development needs analysis

· Design, develop and deliver a proactive programme of Supervisory Skills training for all appropriate staff as required

· Design, develop and deliver proactive training on HR issues for line managers, e.g. Absence Management, Disciplinary Procedure, Recruitment etc

· Develop an annual training plan for all relevant staff

· Facilitate the ad-hoc training needs identified for staff in conjunction with relevant line managers

· Liaise and develop relationships with education and learning establishments, in line with Business requirements and as agreed with Site and Regional management

· Responsible for administration related to the ENABLE Performance and Development Review system, including maintaining accuratelyrecords in the PDM system

· Utilise staff performance reviews for the identification of training needs for relevant staff

· Ensure the effective maintenance and administration of all training expenses

· Ensure that all necessary training equipment and facilities are available when required

· Ensure that all training documentation is administered effectively. This includes the timely and accurate maintenance of training records and attendance and evaluation data in the relevant Learning Management System(s).

· Constantly evaluate, update and improve all training provided to relevant staff

· Provide regular reports on training activity to the Regional Learning and Development Manager

· Manage the Cairo Language Academy (SLA) process by liaising with local and remote SLA trainers, negotiating needs and solutions with relevant stakeholders (including the Regional SLA Manager), arranging logistics (dates, rooms etc) for delivery of pre and in-service SLA courses, and recording and managing all records, material and data.

· Support Cairo Recruitment team on the accurate application, calibration and cross-regional support of the Language Assessment process, in conjunction with the Regional Language Assessment/SLA standard.

· Proven track record in a training environment is essential

· Already in possession of, or working towards appropriate qualifications OR have had equivalent experience

· Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook

· The post holder will have had ‘hands on’ experience of the end-to-end training process

· Highly organised and pay particular attention to detail

· Ideally the post holder will possess a basic knowledge of HR processes and procedures

· Experience in a Contact Centre environment is advantageous

· Proven previous experience managing people is a must.

· The post holder will develop the content of the training provided in line with company methodology

· Be first point of contact for local training queries (with the exception of Operational training,) for all Support functions andOperational roles from Team Leader to Account Manager.

· The post holder will have to make decisions on a daily basis and provide advice and support when needed

· The post holder will be expected to work closely with all levels of staff within the Site to facilitate and deliver training

· The post holder will work closely with local line managers to identify training needs

· The post holder will communicate on a regular basis with other departments as required

· Work in partnership with the Regional Learning & Development Team on the deployment of key Global and Regional Leadership and Talent Management initiatives
