Department Overview:
The Talent Acquisition (TA) function operates as part of a wider EMEA HR team. One of the centre’s of excellence along with Reward, HR Shared Services and Talent & Organisational Development. We partner with Senior/HR Business Partners (HRBP) to deliver HR services to Yahoo! EMEA. The TA team has a presence in Germany, Switzerland, France, Dublin, UK, Jordan, UAE and Egypt with customers in all locations as well as the US. We typically support Global and Regional requirements.

     Responsibilities:

-          Accountable for providing strategic leadership of the end to end recruitment process and ensuring Yahoo! hires best in class talent for Cairo Shared Service Centre
-          Build strong relationship with different BU Hiring Managers across Europe hiring in Cairo, meet on regular basis to discuss hiring plans and report on ongoing recruiting.
-          Build and own the Cairo strategy, channels to market, sourcing & attraction strategy promoting Yahoo! In Cairo
-          Responsible to drive sourcing and selection process for all requisitions within Cairo and ultimately accountable to meet overall hiring plans for Cairo
-          Work closely with the TA Manager to ensure appropriate TA resource allocation to support ongoing hiring across Cairo
-          Engage on regular basis with TA Recruiter in Cairo to support progress and delivery of hiring activities for the assigned hiring managers and coach team on the ground trough potential challenges.
-          Partner with local HR Manager to build up strong relationship with European hiring managers. Bring TA subject matter expertise and the local point of escalation for all Cairo TA and act as a mentor to the local TA team
-          Identify key sourcing strategies for recruiters, using expert knowledge of labour market and competition, developing the ability to anticipate market trends and to innovate.
-          Work closely with the rest of the team to continuously improve the approach to selection & assessment process throughout the recruitment lifecycle to ensure that the very best individual is hired into all positions.
-          Develop a network of key talents for the assigned hiring managers and engage with those talents on regular basis to ensure a strong pipeline at any moment.
-          Ensure local TA practices are compliant with global/regional initiatives and legal requirements.
-          Responsible to Project Manage specific hiring campaigns on a regular basis to support the assigned European hiring managers
-          Manage the relationship with suppliers (recruitment agencies)
-          Manage and own the relationship with government bodies (ITIDA) and own the strategy to help drive Talent Attraction initiatives with the government.
-          Manage and own the relationship with universities and colleges, build on current partnerships and build and determine which and when fairs to attend
-          Support TA Manager in taking responsibilities to deliver on ad hoc projects when and as required
-          Responsible to manage localised Programs in line with the EU TA Manager, such as Yahoo! Internship program, Employee Referral Scheme, Branding, Web3.0, University Relationships







Requirements:

-          Demonstrate leadership and influencing skills with different management levels
-          Ability to build relationship, partner and collaborate effectively with hiring managers through the recruitment process.
-          Broad experience in deploying successful TA strategies in a multinational business environment.
-          Proven experience in working as part of a remote and matrix organisation.
-          Excellent sense of customer service.
-          Strong communication skills.
-          Minimum 5 years experience in recruiting in different type of roles including senior roles and in different business units. Talent Acquisition experience in the on-line industry would be an advantage.
-          Broad understanding of talent attraction strategies, sourcing channels and market trends with an ability to innovate and find new ideas to build solid and reliable candidate’s pipelines.
-          Personal passion to use social networks to engage with candidate’s communities.
-          Understand HR fundamentals outside TA and ability to build strong cross functional team relationships.
-          Good planning and organisational skills with attention to details
-          Analytical skills and good sense of judgment
-          Results and performance driven, with an ability to deliver high standard of service within aggressive  deadlines and high workload
-          Interest to learn and develop within the HR organisation
-          Knowledge of Taleo usage is an advantage but not a necessary

Summary of Role:

Reporting to the Senior Talent Acquisition MENA, this role is part of the EMEA Talent Acquisition team and is key to driving the relationship with BU stakeholders as well the Talent Acquisition strategy and hiring for the BU.  The role will be part of a matrix organization and will work closely with a recruiters supporting operational recruitment for multiple BUs across the region.
