Server Support Specialist - وظائف مجموعة بشارة

Job Title : Server Support Specialist
Narrative Description :
The server specialist will take the responsibility of the installation, configuration, maintenance and monitoring of the numerous servers of the computer center. Majority of the servers are located in the head office while the rest are scattered to different campuses all over Kuwait that is why knowledge in remote monitoring and management is a must. Part of his duty is to keep a database of all the servers’ information so as to make the management easier. Included in job is the management and maintenance of the existing SAN which includes a 30TB IBM DS8100 storage, 2 FS Fibrecat S80 storages and several Brocade FC switches. Backup and restore using IBM’s Tivoli Storage Manager is also included so as to make sure that all the servers’ data are all safe. It will also be his responsibility to make sure that the data centers’ electrical, cooling, security and fire protection systems are in excellent condition at all time. He will also be responsible for the maintenance of the UPS systems installed in nearly all the server racks. Occasionally, he may have to do network and PC repair jobs, that is why network and pc experience is also required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. B.Sc. in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent
2. 10+ years experience in Servers support and maintenance.
3. Installation, maintenance and configuration of servers, server racks and accessories.
4. Must have a solid experience on HP, Fujitsu Siemens, Dell , IBM servers and accessories.
5. Must have a solid experience on network operating systems specially windows server 2003 and windows server 2008.
6. Must have a solid experience in data center management. Must be very knowledgeable in electrical, cooling, fire protection and security systems for the data center.
7. Design, implementation, maintenance and configuration of storage area network (san). Experience with the following equipment’s is a must: IBM ds8100 storage, Fujitsu-Siemens Fibrecat s80 storage and brocade fc switches.
8. IBM Tivoli storage manager. Must have solid experience on creating backup nodes, backup scheduling, BA client configuration, collocating data on tapes, data restoration, user management, volume management, TSM database maintenance ,TSM-ISC installation and configuration and TSM reporting configuration.
9. Must have a good experience in the installation and maintenance of ups systems.
10. Must have experience with server monitoring and SNMP using HP insight manager and MICROSOFT SCOM.
11. Must have experience on IP enabled KVM switches
12. Must have solid experience on networking
13. Must have solid experience in pc maintenance and electronics repairs.
14. Prepare tenders and participate in evaluation and follow up all related issues with purchasing dept, auditing section , CTC, and SAB.
15. Willing to travel and work abroad

مطلوب لشركة كبيرة متخصصة في الويب تكنولوجي مسؤول شؤون عملاء
- إستقبال الإستعلامات و الشكاوى التي ترد من العملاء و التعامل معها بصورة تليق بمكانة الشركة
- حسن الإستماع و التعامل مع العميل
- القدرة على معالجة أكثر من عمل في توقيت واحد
- إجادة التعامل مع الكمبيوتر و الإنترنت إجادة تامة
- إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية تحدثا وكتابة
- القيام بعملية الحفظ والأرشفة و تنظيم الملفات الخاصة بعمله
- متابعة فواتير العملاء
- تنظيم الإجتماعات و اللقاءات الدورية الخاصة بالشركة وتسجيل محاضر الإجتماعات
- إضافة إلى مهام أخرى تطلب
- شخصية قوية
- قدرة عالية على الإتصال مع العملاء
- اللباقة في التحدث
- العمل تحت ضغط
السن لا يقل عن 30 عاما – خبرة من 4-5 سنوات – ذكور فقط – الحصول على مؤهل عالي على الأقل
