Job Description
Functional Role for the Back Office Support Engineer of 2G RAN area belonging to RAN Back Office department within the Etisalat MS Team. RAN Back Office Support works on 24X7 on shift basis.
2G RAN Back Office Support Engineer is responsible for maintaining the normal operation of network 2G RAN services and /or resources in a way the fulfils Managed Services SLA’s and KPI’s commitments.
In addition, 2G RAN Back Office Support Engineer Functional Role is responsible for the below functions:

Job Description
• Responsible for preparing all documents relating to planning, scheduling, progress measurement, productivity etc. • Analyzes drawings, specifications and statements of work in the preparation of activity networks for project resource planning and scheduling • Preparation of program master schedule and perform critical path analysis • Updating program master schedule on a regular basis for project management reporting • Monitors engineering progress and material status reports against construction schedules and reviews them with engineering, procurement and construction groups. • Prepare Look Ahead Schedules • Prepare month wise Resource allocation table and update monthly • Coordinate with Resource Coordinator for manpower & equipment requirements and overall coordination to ensure optimum utilization of resources • Prepare and maintain the issue register and lesson learnt register • Monitor resource distribution in daily basis • Prepare monthly invoice • Analyze schedule and cost variance and prepare corrective action reports, if required • Maintains liaison with the project and field personnel for schedule revisions and updates • Develop Action and Recovery plans to support project delivery on time • Identify the critical path of the project and coordinate with project managers, construction managers and discipline engineers to ensure that all activities falling on the critical path are completed on time so as not to delay the project • To monitor the progress of work against the baseline schedule and preparation of weekly and monthly client and management reports • Identify well in advance the bottle necks in achieving the planned progress and to propose corrective actions to recover or minimize the slippage
Job Qualifications
Experience in execution of projects in the Oil & Gas field EPIC projects • Must work independently and with less supervision • Hands on experience in primavera P6 and MS office software and spreadsheet applications. • Good planning and organizational skills • Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills • Fluent in written and spoken English • Able to work in an organization consisting of different nationalities and deal effectively with personnel all levels of the organization
