POST REQUIREMENTS A vacancy exists for a Specialist Registrar, non-training service post, until 31st March 2011. The service offers specialist assessment and treatment across outpatient, day-patient and in-patient settings, and a liaison service.

You will be involved primarily in working alongside the multidisciplinary team, providing medical & psychiatric assessment and management of complex cases both in-patient and outpatient hospital settings. You will be required to supervise and support the clinic’s CT1-3. The Service has a strong multidisciplinary ethos and close co-operation with other agencies is expected.

Applicants must have full GMC registration and at least 2½ year’s experience in general adult psychiatry. Experience in the management of patients with eating disorders is desirable but not essential.

UNIT INFORMATION

The Vincent Square Clinic provides eating disorder service for a local catchment area comprising the boroughs of Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith & Fulham, Ealing, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Brent and Harrow. In addition the service accepts national referrals for specialist in-patient and day-patient care.
