| Description | 1- Provides Leadership in the Mechanical Maintenance Department. 2- Coordinates best operational practices of Department manufacturing activities, collects, stores, and analyzes data, solves problems and provides operational direction for department personnel. 3- Assures and champions projects and initiatives that meet or exceed departmental goals. 4- Precisely forecasts departmental needs and ensures that the necessary resources are made available to achieve excellent results. 5- Establish and maintain comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs. 6- Plan and execute maintenance shutdowns focused on minimizing operational impact and disruptions while minimizing maintenance cost. 7- Train, schedule and develop the maintenance team. 8- Performs root cause analysis on major breakdowns. 9- Train Process Technicians to monitor equipment and develop procedures to ensure appropriate action. 10- Establish and maintain spare parts inventory and inventory controls. 11- Monitor and report consumption of parts inventory. 12- Manage Maintenance Department within approved budget each year. 13- Guarantee the Maintenance Shop and associated work areas are adequately equipped, clean and orderly. |
| Qualifications | 1- Min. 5 years applicable engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. 2- Able to demonstrate proven success in similar role within an International company. 3- Very strong technical expertise. |
