Job Overview :
Microsoft Middle East & Africa - MEA HQ Regional Services Consulting Delivery team employs a group of highly qualified technical consultants with a wealth of expertise and experience in different Microsoft Products / Technologies. The main objective of the regional consulting team is to help Microsoft Partners and Enterprise customers across the region to get maximum value from their investments whether that’s via architectural & technology strategy leadership, advice on best practice, quality assurance, deep technical consultancy, solution delivery or project implementation.
As part of Microsoft MEA HQ Regional Services Consulting Delivery team, you’ll be one of Microsoft front-line technical specialists focusing on the large projects and Enterprise Microsoft solutions across the region. Microsoft consultants provide technical direction and leadership in the architecture, design, pilot, and deployment of Microsoft technologies within our enterprise customer base across the Middle East and Africa region. You will have deep and broad development technical skills using the related MS technologies/ products as well as solid architecture and design skills. You will leverage local field employees, product group expertise, and partner resources as required to design, develop, and deploy solutions.

Building upon solid IT project experience relative to their level, these consultants will work with Microsoft's partners to assist customers in:
The delivery of high quality engagements around Microsoft's solution areas, technologies and products into diverse client environments leveraging available IP and following defined delivery methodologies and service offerings.
The capture of requirements.
The design and development of an integrated solution using the latest Microsoft products and technologies.
Understanding the relevant application development, infrastructure and operations implications of the designed/developed solution.
The Consultant role is mainly about delivering solutions to customers and allowing them to maximize their investment in Microsoft technology. Consultants use their broad and deep knowledge of technology and IT operations to architect solutions by mapping common customer business problems to reusable services focused on operational effectiveness and business value. To accomplish operational effectiveness, a consultant will manage the complete lifecycle of large and complex projects.
As members of the virtual account team, a consultant helps customer account teams identify, pursue, and close strategic business development opportunities while continually driving add-on business within existing projects. They help translate business requirements into technology requirements for inclusion in contracts and/or statements of work (SOW) and assist in contract negotiations.
Consultants play a key role in employing and developing partners as part of the overall Microsoft services delivery model. Consultants maintain product group relationships and may act as subject matter experts assisting service line management in the definition and development of service and/or solution offerings. Consultants have an impact at the subsidiary regional level, as well as are able to assist/mentor others. Consultants are able to lead technical design within a project.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead, architect, Design, deploy and project manage solution delivery when multiple developers / partners are involved.
Work with partners and other MS Consultants in the architecture, design & implementation of MS based solutions.
Build trust based relationships with the customers influencing their technical decisions & developing opportunities for adopting our products
Transfer skills to customers (and project team) through effective communication & service engagements
Identify opportunities for providing value to customers, proactively offering to engage our services & ensuring they’re satisfied with the delivery of the services
Represent the interest of customers to internal groups
Work with Business development during project envisioning to properly scoping technical components and solution architecture. This includes write-ups and reviews of statement of works and proposal support and review.
Present a professional & compelling image of MS & its products through workshop, presentations & corporate seminars
Remain technically competent in a broad range of MS products & technologies within area of expertise.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge & Experience:
ü 10+ years’ experience in Microsoft Development Solutions and Consulting Services knowhow is a plus.
ü French speaking skill is an excellent ‘plus’
ü Proven ability to consult, design, architect solutions, implement, deploy and manage delivery of projects.
ü Project leadership skills, excellent communication, planning, and presentation skills
ü Flexibility to be able to work at both design & detailed technical level within the focus area of products & technology & be able to advise client on effect of future technology changes
ü Experience of working in or with global companies.
ü A degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.
