JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Assist in selection of appropriate equipment and accessories to accomplish work assignments Relocate and setup equipment to operational status Perform operation of audio-visual, computing or media/computer classroom resources Make complete audio and or video recordings of classes or events Prepare simple, uncompressed or processed recordings for submission to service requestor Collect, transport, return to storage, and account for resources used during work assignments Maintain accurate and timely records regarding work assignments Operate computing and presentation equipment for the duration of events as requested by the client and according to CTMS policies Track and report equipment usage for the purpose of service and replacement planning. Report equipment or technical failures to proper person or service unit and follow-up until resolved Communicates with clients directly Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies and techniques. Provide assistance to faculty in the use of the instructional classroom technology
-Qualifications Two or more years of fulltime support of audio-visual and lighting systems Prefer experience with projectors, computers and instructional settings Prefer experience with videography techniques Prefer experience with minimal post-production video processes Work in a related technical services area is desired
