JOB DESCRIPTION:

-Prepare or review payment requests and payment vouchers to ensure that the obligation authorities (commitment, disbursement and bank Signatories) are met by the employees for ordering goods or services, petty cash reimbursement or any purchases and refund requests Book the general expenses in the A/P Module Review the medical and life claims payment requests. Raise medical and life claim checks and send to the authorized persons for signature. Process accounting entries for commissions and raise payments Book entries related to technical reserves and corresponding reinsurer shares Assist in the preparation of the monthly GOE analysis templates Assist in the monthly and quarterly BS reconciliation Screen recipients of any cash disbursements (GOE, Claims, Commissions) on Accelus Process all Third Party Providers as per ACE Life TPP Policy Prepare the filing of accounting/financial documentation
-Qualifications • At least 2-3 years of experience as an Accountant or Assistant Accountant preferably for an insurance company. • Knowledge of Egypt GAAP accounting will be a plus. • Knowledge of life and health insurance products and a good understanding of the mechanisms for distributing life and health insurance products would be a plus.
