ITIDA Signs MoU with Sutherland Global Services to Open its First International Center in Egypt The New Center Provides 1000 Jobs for Egyptians Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Tarek Kamel, witnessed today the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and Sutherland Global Services, one of the major companies operating in the field of outsourcing. This MoU has been signed during the activities of the high-level United States mission, led by Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Tarek Kamel. According to this MoU, Sutherland Global Services will open its first international center in Alexandria. The new project, in its first phase, will create more than 1000 jobs for Egyptian professional high calibers, providing a full range of integrated back-office and client facing front-office services. This new center inauguration in Alexandria is a good sign of the vivid skills settled in the Egyptian cities, especially that Alexandria has been listed in international reports for overseas services provision, for the first time. It is also worth mentioning that there are 29.000 persons working in Sutherland Global Services, in 8 countries all over the world.
