Description | - Review, audit the forwarding, shipping, customs, free zone, re-exportation documentation, relevant transaction activities & follow-up the executions status on a daily basis. - Prepare daily and weekly reports showing the clearance status. Follow up on local and overseas transportation activities covering in-land, ocean, and air (import-export) shipments until delivering to warehouses. - Prepare/submit daily & weekly reports to the Senior Customs Clearance & DPA management. - Follow up on all discharging, clearing, loading, releasing, storing, and transportation for all inbound or outbound logistical activities from point of origin to point of destination. - Coordinate and contact with several shipping and forwarding agencies and solve any disputes and raise concerns and complains, Confer or correspond with couriers to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications - Prepare and file import and export documentation according to customs regulations, laws, or procedures. - Handle payment of, taxes and duties for shipments with Finance department. - Clear goods through customs and to their destinations to warehouses. - Stay abreast of changes in import or export laws or regulations by reading current literature, attending meetings or conferences, or conferring with colleagues. - Examine contents and compare with records, such as packing list invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment. |
