Job Description
- The jobholder is a specialist responsible for delivery of
translations (primarily from French to Arabic and vice versa), for group
communications observing the highest professional standard
- The jobholder helps deliver key translation projects that form an integral part of HSBC's corporate image
Skills Required
- Strong French and Arabic verbal and written communication skills
with excellent written translation skills in both directions between
French and Arabic
- Adequate knowledge of French culture and history, and ability to detect sensitivities in French language and cultural contexts
- Good management skills with vendors
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail under pressure and ability to meet deadlines
- Able to work as part of a team
- Positive attitude and keen to learn, demonstrating continued
knowledge building by keeping track of developments within HSBC and
global trends
- Working computer knowledge of French input, Word and Excel
- Flexibility to work shifts 24/7
