The candidate will be part of the core team to help drive our vision. As part of the growing team, you will build, test, and launch emerging mobile technologies. An ideal candidate is a motivated individual, a team player and has a willingness to learn. The candidate thrives in a fast paced environment, is passionate about mobile technologies and payments. The successful candidate should have 1 to 3 years of development experience developing and maintaining Web sites using PHP.
Responsibilities:
• Develop Web-based applications
• Implement enhancements and provide on-going support
• Work closely with teams to ensure technology is implemented successfully
• Ensure all projects are well scoped, and are delivered on-time with a high level of consumer satisfaction
• Implement enhancements and provide on-going support
Requirements:
• Experience of object oriented programming / modular programming
• Understanding of MVC design patterns and frameworks
• Commercial experience in Web Application development and / or software development using PHP
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects with strict deadlines while contributing new ideas in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical detail to non-technical team members
• Must be detail-oriented and well organized
• Strong work ethic with a passion for quality and customer service
Skills:
• Experience using PHP for building Web-base solutions. Experience developing PHP applications for supporting hand-held devices is a plus
• Front-end development including jQuery, Ajax, JSON, XSLT and HTML5 is a plus
• Experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems. Unix is a plus
• Experience developing applications for Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL
• Quality Assurance experience is a plus
