TIME & DURATION OF INTERNSHIP:
The Summer Internship Program for this year will take place starting 8th July till 13th of September 2012. The allocated internship period for each intern is 1 month. The dates of the internships are as follows:
8th July – 9th August 2012
12th August – 13th September 2012
APPLYING FOR A SUMMER INTERNSHIP
1.The Training & Development Department will start receiving applications for the Summer Internship from Sunday, 13th,May 2012 to Monday,31st May 2012 ( From 9 a.m – 12 p.m )
Applications received during this time will have priority over any late applications. Candidates applying after 31st May 2012 will be on the waiting list.
2.Every summer intern must fill out an Application Form and apply to the Training & Development Department throughout the above-mentioned period.
3.Along with the application form, all applicants must provide:
a.One photograph
b.A copy of ID
c.An Enrolment Certificate (شهادة قيد) from university
4.Potential applicants will be contacted for a short screening interview with the Training Department during the period of June 5th to June 28th, 2012. This is to ensure that the appearance, communication & language skills of the summer interns match AAIB’s standards & work culture. Applications not submitted in person, will not be considered.
There is no guarantee that every applicant will be accepted; ONLY accepted applicants will be contacted.
6.Applicants are encouraged to state their preference towards certain branches or departments and we will do our best to satisfy their preferences.
However, we cannot guarantee distributing ALL applicants according to their preferences and the Training & Development Department reserves the right of intern’s allocation based on branch needs for interns and availability.
The Training & Development department is located at AAIB Head Office 5 Midan El Saray El Kobra, Garden City, Cairo. 2nd floor.
