Responsible for: HR ADMINISTRATIVE & SECRETARIAL STAFF AS REQUIRED
Job Summary / Role
Responsibility for providing a comprehensive and professional Human Resources advice and support service to the company staff.
To take responsibility on wide basis for a specific area of work (e.g. workforce planning & information)
To participate in the delivery of both national and local Human Resources strategies.
To assist managers with the modernisation of services and the management of change.
The required skills:
• At least 5 years’ experience in human resources
• Good 'PC' User' skills including work processing and spread sheets.
• Ability to deal with complex issues
• Ability to negotiate and influence at all levels
• Good knowledge of employment law
• Experience of using basic software packages
• Experience of analysing and presenting information
• Understanding of best practice in HR
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to use initiative
• Able to prioritise and respond flexibly to changing demands
• Able to manage own time effectively
• Commitment to equal opportunities
• Able to establish credibility and rapport with line managers and Directors
• Flexible.
