Incumbents are needed to perform one of the following IT related functions:
Assist the multimedia staff to provide visual, functional, and interactive design of the agency's external web site.
Develop a prototype web site for ERS applications development staff to improve the exchange of information related to application security.
Populate the GIS Team's spatial data repository with standardized spatial data layers that will be served to ERS researchers for cartographic production.
Work as part of the LAN administration team to install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software.

BENEFITS:
Student employees are paid, starting the first day of work based on the level of education at the time they apply. If the appointment is for 90 days or more, the employee earns annual and sick leave at the rate of four hours per bi-weekly pay period plus Federal holidays during the period worked. Paid employees contribute to Social Security.
