Technical Support Specialist
The Technical Support Specialist is a position for an experienced Customer support Specialist. In this position, the Specialist will provide remote software and hardware technical support for products/equipment to the EMEA/Americas customers’ base. He/she should have a broad knowledge of software, the OS and hardware platforms. The analyst is the owner of the customer’s incidents and responsible for establishing and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Within the “Customers Services” department, the analyst will report to the Global Technical Support manager and work out of the office in Cairo. The working hours will be 40 hours per week.
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Clear understanding of customer’s service contracts.
Using verbal and written communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Strong facilitation and team skills.
Ability to work with international support teams.
Good/professional command of English is a must.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Several years experience in a computer related technology field
Several years experience with UNIX/LINUX, DBMS and Windows 2003
Good experience of Hardware and Software.
Conceptual understanding of Intel-based computer hardware architectures
Experience working customer services role
