Legal Director – Procurement – Comms – Dubai – Ref 3615

An excellent opportunity now exists for a talented, senior commercial procurement lawyer, ideally with experience of the Telco / IT industries to join their UAE team. The role will focus heavily on supporting the company’s procurement division and will manage a small team focussed on the same. The ideal candidate will fulfil the following criteria -
• Western or Emirati qualified
• Between 7-12 PQE*
• Legal team management experience
• Experience of Telco procurement
• Arabic speaker desirable but not essential
• Extensive commercial law experience, especially procurement contracts including Technology procurement a (e.g. purchase of network equipment & services; purchase of IT hardware, software & services, outsourcing services, etc)
• Experience within the communications / IT industry
• Extensive experience of Middle Eastern business practices
